I was born in Norman , Oklahoma.  Oklahoma has the highest divorce rate year after year of any state next to Nevada in the United States.  The United States has the highest divorce rate of any country in the world. 

I need to talk about what is going on and I am sure I am not alone.  I recently read an article in the magazine, Scientific American, Mind edition about how one perceives a goal after a winning or loosing streak.  It showed that people perceived a goal as smaller when they were on a loosing streak and larger when they are on a winning streak. 

Frankly, I want to know exactly what I am up against when streaks seem to be so pervasive in my life.  I know that I will never know enough but it just seems like I people are happier who actively engage in deeper and more honest and meaningful conversations about the trends of their lives.
